The Canyon Club in Agoura was the site for the Thousand Oaks Kiwanis annual Texas Holdem Poker Tournament last Sunday night, April 25.  Organizer Bindelglass estimated the crowd at about 150, with Kiwanians well represented.  About eighty players battled throughout the evening for the winner’s spot, which ultimately went to Karen Brody, a poker friend of Bruce Berman.  Karen took home an engraved sterling silver bracelet, a 42” LCD HD television and a Pachanga Casino package, including a room, meal money and entry into a Poker Tournament with a $20,000 winner’s purse.  Non poker players spent the evening having fun at the casino tables and everyone enjoyed a great meal.  Glen, Dave Klein and other committee members did a wonderful job once again on this fund-raiser.
